Dr. Nimrod "Rod" G. Montaño
Dr. Nimrod G. Montaño graduated from Southwestern University, Cebu, Philippines in 1986 and established his private practice in the Philippines for almost 8 years before relocating to Canada in 1993 to establish a Filipino dental clinic in Edmonton after completing the National Dental Examining Board of Canada & Universities Coordinating Council in June 1996.
Dr. Rod (as his patients and colleagues affectionately call him) is now widely considered one of the top tier Filipino dentists. Along with his team, their greatest desire is to provide the best possible dental care and to develop a lifetime relationship with their patients.

Dr. Mariefil Bacolod-Acojedo
Dr. Mariefil Bacolod-Acojedo graduated Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2004 from Cebu Doctor’s University.
December 2004 Philippine Dental Board 2nd Top Placer Examinee .
She was a Dental Extern at The University of the Philippines – Phil. General Hospital specializing in Hospital Dentistry and Oral Surgery.
She won a Dental Associate of Cebu Dental Care Center at the same time a professor and Clinical Instructor of Cebu Doctor’s University College of Dentistry for 7years.
In Edmonton, she started as a Registered Dental Assistant for 3years. She then took the National Dental Examination Board and received her Dental Certification last September 2016.
Few things she loves doing with her family are playing volleyball, going outdoors, swimming and traveling.

Dr. Thomas has worked at Great Smile for the last 7 years as an associate dentist.
She graduated in 2004 with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Manitoba.
Apart from spending time with her family, she is happy to come to work and be surrounded by the patients and team she loves.

Dr. Queenie Montaño-Badelles
Dr. Badelles graduated from South Western University, Cebu City, Philippines in 1994. Before coming to Canada, she had her own private clinic in the Philippines where she practiced for twelve years.
When Dr. Badelles migrated to Canada, she started her career in the dentistry by working as a Registered Dental Assistant.
She later took the Orthodontic Module and then the Scaling Module to further advance and broaden her scope as a dental assistant. But she did not stop there. Her passion to serve the community by sharing her skills and knowledge motivated her to work harder and pursue her ultimate goal, which is to practice Dentistry in Canada. She then took the National Dental Board Examination and received her Dental Certification.
When she is not working, she likes to spend quality time with her family. Her passion is to travel whenever she can
